At first I just thought these guys just sounded like an ordinary garage band turned blues. But then I was hooked in with their song “tighten up” off their 2010 album “brothers”.I thought it was really good and I better check them out, and I did which is obviously why am writing about this talented group.Dan Auerbach (guitar, vocals) and Patrick Carney (drums). From akrin ohio used to be two former college drop outs. But as seen today they are widely known and very famous.I don’t know much about the group, but their very talented and defiantly a group that deserves all the success they’ve achieved Check out Rubber Factory and Brothers (my two favotire albums)And heres my favorite song by them

Foo Fighters
When Kurt Cobain of Nirvana Committed suicide in 1994, he
left the world in shock, especially Dave Ghrol the drummer for nirvana
In late 94 Ghrol grew tired of weeping over Cobain, he
decided it was time to rock once more. So he took the originals the he wrote
over the past year, and made his own demo, the drums, the guitar, the vocals he
did it all.
Then with his tape buzzing around the music industry he
decided to put the band together, get real members and record the album. Its really
an amazing story of how ghrol put this band together and if you want to know
more then you need to check out “Back and Forth” the Foo Fighters Documentary
But overall the Foo Fighters are an amazing Grunge Rock band
Check out their first self-titled album, its quite amazing.

The White Panda
I normally hate this kind of music, but lately i (and i hate to admit this) am really starting to like this catchy dance crap. call it whatever you want, but you cant deny the fact that it makes you want to dance.
My latest guilty pleasure "the White Panda"
two guys that take popular songs and clash them together to form the ultimate remix
i discovered these guys when my brother, who was visiting from college ran into my room and starting blasting the song below. at first it was hilarious to see him dance and sing the lyrics, but overtime he sucked me into listening to them

Tenacious D
Although Inappropriate, Vulgar and
sometimes disgusting “The D” is a great band. From skits, conversations and
real music they have talent. By they I mean Jack Black and Kyle Gass, two hilarious
dudes.
They actually used to despise each
other, but they got over it when Kyle taught jack how to play guitar in
exchange for some acting lessons.
With the help of Jack Blacks acting
success he began to sneak “the D” in with him. As you can tell in some of
Blacks appearances on the big screen you also see Gass doing cameos from time
to time. The rest is history
But on may 11th
they put out their new album “Rize of the Fenix”
the first album they have released six YEARS.
Please check out
Tenacious DThey are hysterical,
and even though they involve a lot of comedy in their songs they actually hold
musical talent.
Beastie Boys
since 1979, when they
formed as a hardcore punk band the beastie boys have been nothing but a success
they first wanted to become a punk band but with all their succuss of their
hit "Cooky Puss" they became a hip hop band from their on out.
as of today they have eight studio albums and
are known around the world. But unfortunatly on may 4 Adam Yauch aka MCA died
of cancer.
Beastie boys are
amazing!! Defiantly worth a check out if you don’t know who are they are
Check out

Vampire Weekend
the first time i ever heard Vampire Weekend was a summer day on itunes. they had a free download which i thought was pretty good. But then a few months down the road i decided to listen to their other songs, and i loved them.
with insane drum beats, wierd techno additions and an amazing vocalist i knew they were my favorite band. within the next few months they blew up, had a bunch of songs on Tv and in movies.
then one day my brother walked into my room with one of their albums and told me to listen to it. I told him i already knew who they were. he said "did you know their coming to red rocks?" and that was probablly the best show ive ever been to
but if your one to like pop-rock kind of music you need to check them out.
their most popular song is A-punk
and my favorite song is " the kids dont stand a chance" - its one of their slower songs, but it has a smooth and flowly guitar riff you just have to hear

MGMT
a pyschodelic/indie rock band
Ever since they signed with Columbia Records in 2006 they have been nothing but rising fame.
unfortunatly i didnt hear them till 2010, when my brother blasted one of records in our house.I ran into the living whom, yelling "WHO IS THIS?". That day i fell in love with keyboards and weird pyschodelic sounds within music. i kept on questioning my brother who they were, where there from, how long they've been together and everything like that. After a five minute interrorgation at my brother, he asked me "want to go see them with me"? and within two weeks i found myself at Red Rocks.
this concert made that summer one of the best i will ever have. it was pouring rain, my group and i were freezing and soaking wet, but the only thing that kept us there was their AMAZING music and light show.
it so hard to describe the night but it was one of the most incredible of my life. maybe this video can shed some light.
